1. Notebook assignment #1 is about the Renaissance and is linked here.  Your end product here will be the answer to 8 questions about Renaissance artists and then you will include two of your own drawings to show off your own Renaissance talents...
2. Notebook assignment 2.  Take notes in the lab Feb. 4 on the Teacher Tube video on The Reformation.
3. Venn Diagram on Catholicism, Lutheranism, and Calvinism. Draw a Venn Diagram, with the three interlocking circles being Catholicism, Lutheranism, and Calvinism.  Label each of the sections formed with a letter or number, and then add as many items as you can for each letter or number, listing them neatly as a chart or poster that you will place in your notebook..

4. Make a chart that shows and explains the slave trade.  Call your chart "Triangular Trade", showing where slaves were obtained, where they were sold, and what they were sold for.
5. Make a colorful diagram displaying and explaining The Columbian Exchange. Be sure to show many products that went from the Old World to the new, and many that went from the New World to the old.
6. Make a chart of the Social Structure of the Spanish Colonies. Make a chart which indicates which groups had the least power and the most, and also shows which groups had the most and the least people.
7. Write out and define the 6 vocabulary words from Chapter 17, and draw a picture or graphic for each one.

 

8. Describe these five government/phases of the French Revolution: Here are different ways you could do this: 
  • Make a small booklet with one page for each of the phases/governments
  • Make a video explaining each one of the 5 phases using photos from the text and retrieved from the Internet...
  • Make a poster like the one below

10. Map of Western Imports, with text explanation of what three of them were and what countries they came from.
11. Do a Concept Map of 26.5, with "Imperialism" as the large center circle and 3 impacts radiating from it, and other circles radiating from these impacts.
12. Do the Flow Chart in 27.2 of the online textbook.  Start with the assassination of Francis Ferdinand and end with "Britain Declares War on Germany" and make sure you have 5 steps added in between these two. Be sure to put a TITLE on this.
