2. Make a chart comparing the major forms of government in each stage of history: Ancient, Greece/Rome, Middle Ages and Age of Revolutions. Be sure to have a title for the chart, and use all of the bold words in your summary or each period of history.  It should look something like this:

3. Make a chart (from chapter 2, section 5), in which you compare these three economic systems: Traditional Economy, Market Economy (capitalism), and Command Economy (socialism).  Be sure to have a title for your chart.   It should look something like this:

4. Write out the vocabulary words from Chap. 3 on page 41, draw a small picture for each, and write the meaning in your own words.
5. Draw the timeline on pp.42-43, but make it vertical instead of horizontal. Be sure the 7 concepts and where they arose are on the timeline. Be sure to have a title...Make the chart graphic!
6. Make a chart, entitled "What Enlightenment Thinkers Thought".  Compare the ideas of Locke, Hobbes, Montesquieu and Rousseau in a chart something like this (pp 44-46):

7. CHOICE: Either create a vertical chart about the struggle for Civil Rights in the U.S. (similar to the one on the bottom of pp 124-5, only vertical) OR write a narrative summary of section 7.2 in the book, summarizing it to 1/3 of its textbook length.

8. CHOICE: Make a graphic chart showing the steps to becoming a U.S. citizen, OR Write a narrative summary of section 7.3 in the book, summarizing it to 1/3 of its textbook length.
